Tribal nights was soooooooooooooo much fun!!! Thank you to Amira and to Raqaseen for sharing the wonderful flamenco fusion with us! I loved watching the ladies bust out the fancy foot work. i love flamenco and it's just so wonderful of Amira to share this with all of us. we love you Amira! if you missed this night then you missed a DOOZY!!! We had some true fusion happening. Kali started off the night in a lovely costume and rocked her birthday party!!! she had quite the cheering section and she looked beautiful as well! Amaya and Sandi did this awesome fusion piece* most of you know Sandi and Amaya as cabaret dancers* Sandi busted out her tap shoes and Amaya danced to the rhythm that Sandi was tapping out!!! seriously it was one of the coolest things i have seen in a while! after that Inara graced us with a lovely tribal number i just love watching her dance!!! then our guest who just happened to be in town and just happened to get my email address and just happened to contact me, performed a jaw dropping piece. Frank is one of THE best male fusion dancers in the country right now and it was a real treat to see him live. Then Raqaseen rounded out the first set they were awesome!
the second set had Sherise of Cabernet dance doing a really good number that had the crowd going. We twisted Sara's arm into doing her piece she's working on and it was pretty solid*despite what you say!!!* then we twisted Franks arm into dancing for us again. teeheee!!! oh don't worry he will be back in jan. for the Zoe workshops. then Amira did her Sevillanas for us and i just love seeing the intensity and passion in her when she does Flamenco. it's like she takes me to Spain with her dancing!!!! just lovely!!!!
we had a great time after ward busting a move or two and just letting loose!!! this coming Tribal Night will feature Black Star dance Company!!! they are amazing women and supah talented!!!!! Jan 15th it goes down!!!! don't miss it!!!!! thank you once again to ALL of the wonderful dancers!!!! with out you we wouldn't be able to pull this off. we are accepting performance requests for Jan. so hurry and email me!!!! 1st come 1st on the list!!!! :)
